About Wesley T. Honeycutt
I am a transdisciplinary researcher from Oklahoma. While my PhD and BS degrees are in chemistry, most of my work is concerned with how we sense and make sense of the sensed information which describes our world around us. My research has taken me many places including projects on: methane and carbon dioxide detection, bird migratory ecology, lunar astronomy, robotics development, computer vision for object detection, boundary layer meteorology, uranium remediation, detection of improvised explosives, electronic circuit development, sustainable policy development, and many others. In addition to my degree, I am a: amateur radio operator (KD5HBR), UAS pilot, and former theater kid.
